You should never go into any photoshoot with preconceived notions or “I’m not going to budge for anything” plans, because they always change. That’s the beauty of it all. Spontaneity is a big thing I strive for in my blog shoots and that’s why I always have so much fun. Take deep breaths in between pictures and remember to always enjoy yourself. People can tell when you’re unhappy in your photos.
This jacket has quickly become a new favorite with my friends, strangers, and personally. It’s not hard to see why. With edgy prints, such as the cow skull and in your face geometric shapes, and a mineral wash denim look that crawled right out of your favorite 80’s hair metal video, it’s a statement piece. And as far as I’m concerned, baggy clothes are so in right now. If you want to get even more out of a jacket like this, pair it with a black top/dress and you’ll get comments about your awesome “vest” just like I did.
Like I said last week and many times before, velvet is all the rage. I’ve overlooked it before at the thrift store and just passed it off as something I would never wear, without giving it a chance. That’s another thing I’d like you all to take away from this post; try anything once! You won’t know if you like it until you try it. These leggings are extremely comfortable and I really recommend everyone go out and buy themselves a pair; it’s a decision you won’t soon regret.
Everyone should own a pair of boots with a bit of a flair, whether it’s adorable and edgy bat wings like those in my last article or a multitude of buckles like the ones shown below. Making statements shouldn’t be left to just the upper half of your body; your shoes want in the spotlight, too! I felt stylish and comfortable in these boots and, really, what more can you ask for?
So, are you digging the 80’s revival vibe of this outfit? Is there any piece of this look that you would take and adapt to your everyday wardrobe? Let me know in the comments below!
